Job Description:

Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to support Nuclear Emergency Planning (EP) efforts for Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) organizations. This position plays a critical role in advancing Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) readiness and preparedness.

Pay Range: $110,000 – $130,000 per year


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, roll-out, and support Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program Emergency Planning new project initiatives for Pacific Fleet Radiological Emergency Planning organizations.
  • Support COMPACFLT/COMSUBPAC Director of Radiological Emergency Planning during periodic assessments at six Pacific Fleet Radiological Emergency Planning organizations.
  • Assist COMPACFLT/COMSUBPAC Director of Radiological Emergency Planning developing, implementing and monitoring Pacific Fleet Radiological Emergency Planning organization’s improvement projects.
  • Provide development support to Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program corporation wide emergency response projects.
  • Participate in occasional domestic and international travel in support of PACFLT EP duties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previously assigned to or working directly for U.S. Navy Echelon 2 or Echelon 3 staffs.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance and access to Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Capable of exercising sound judgment and maintaining professional discretion in sensitive situations.
