AC Disaster Consulting (ACDC) is a nationally recognized, woman-owned emergency management consulting firm founded in 2018 and certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, ACDC operates nationwide, bringing together emergency managers, planners, grant and Public Assistance specialists, hazard mitigation professionals, engineers, financial analysts, and program managers.
With decades of collective experience, our team has supported clients through more than 60 federally declared disasters. We combine hands-on operational knowledge with technical and programmatic expertise to help clients prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies, as well as reduce future risk. Our experience spans hurricanes and tropical cyclones, wildfires, floods, tornadoes, winter storms, public health emergencies, mass care and sheltering, and other complex incidents.
ACDC’s services include preparedness and planning, training and exercises, emergency response and EOC augmentation, disaster recovery, FEMA Public Assistance and Individual Assistance, hazard mitigation, grants and program management, debris monitoring, housing and sheltering, after-action reviews and continuous improvement, and data and technology solutions. We serve federal, state, regional, local, and tribal governments, nonprofits, and private-sector organizations, applying lessons from varied jurisdictions and disaster types to each engagement.
Emergency management is ACDC’s core business. Our professionals have worked within government agencies, EOCs, field operations, and disaster recovery programs, equipping them to deliver practical, operationally ready solutions. We work as a collaborative partner and extension of each client’s team, scaling resources as needs change while maintaining focused management and quality oversight. Guided by our commitment to being Competent, Caring, and Connected, we pair technical expertise with a compassionate, whole-community approach to help communities build lasting resilience.
